129th Airmen return from training and firefighting
Twenty-eight Airmen from the 129th Rescue Wing returned to Moffett Federal Airfield Aug. 5 after nearly two weeks of fighting the Telegraph Fire near Yosemite National Forest north of Fresno. Part of the second wave of 2,000 Guard firefighters, more than 200 Air National Guardsmen from California were called up July 11 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to combat wildfires that have scorched more than a million acres across the state since late June.
