Training for war
Members from the 129th Rescue Squadron train at the Advance Operator course near Las Vegas, Nev in March 2009. This five-day program was designed to teach aircrews a remarkably high skill level with all of their assigned weapons. They were put into varying levels of stressful situations that resemble what they may encounter overseas if forced to land in a non-permissive environment. (U.S. Air Force photo by Maj. Mat Wenthe)
