4th of July rescue demonstration
Master Sgt. Klay Bendle, a pararescueman assigned to the California Air National Guard’s 131st Rescue Squadron, attempts to signal the four-man pararescue team preparing to parachute out of an MC-130P Combat Shadow flying overhead during a rescue demonstration near Incline Beach, Nev. July 3. Members from the 129th Rescue Wing, stationed at Moffett Federal Airfield, Calif., participated in Lake Tahoe’s fifth annual Red White and Tahoe Blue 4th of July celebration in Incline Village by providing a live aerial demonstration utilizing the wing’s Combat Shadow fixed-wing four-engine aircraft, HH-60G Pave Hawk rescue helicopter and "Guardian Angel" pararescuemen.
