4th of July rescue demonstration

Staff Sgt. Mickey Chan, a pararescueman assigned to the California Air National Guard’s 131st Rescue Squadron, drags his parachute toward a recovery boat in preparation to perform a simulated rescue near Incline Village, Nev. on July 3. Members from the 129th Rescue Wing, stationed at Moffett Federal Airfield, Calif., participated in Lake Tahoe’s fifth annual Red White and Tahoe Blue 4th of July celebration in Incline Village by providing a live aerial demonstration utilizing the wing’s MC-130P Combat Shadow fixed-wing four-engine aircraft, HH-60G Pave Hawk rescue helicopter and "Guardian Angel" pararescuemen.
