Save 948: Beijing MSC

Master Sgt. Jimmy Petrolia, a pararescueman assigned to the 131st Rescue Squadron, sets up an IV drip for the patient in preparation for transport Feb. 4, 2012. Responding to the call from the Eleventh District Coast Guard at Alameda, pararescuers, or PJs, two HH-60G Pave Hawks and one MC-130P Combat Shadow aircraft departed Moffett Federal Airfield. The team provided medical assistance to a 54-year-old male who had suffered stroke-like symptoms on the MSC Beijing, acargo ship more than 200 miles off the coast of California.
