Soaring Angel 13-1
Senior Airman Leonard Tran, a helicopter maintainer assigned to the 129th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, services the damper on an HH-60G Pave Hawk rescue helicopter during Soaring Angel 13-1 at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., Oct 12, 2012. A damper is a piece of equipment that puts stress on the blade of a helicopter and allows the blade to move side to side while conducting routine maintenance. Soaring Angel 13-1 is a collaborative tactical training exercise hosted by the 129th Rescue Wing designed to demonstrate the wing’s rescue and deployable capabilities and interoperability with joint forces.
