2/4/2012 - Master Sgt. Jimmy Petrolia, a pararescueman assigned to the 131st Rescue Squadron, reviews images of the MSC Beijing in preparation for a rescue mission Feb. 4, 2012. Petrolia will be hoisted down to the MSC Beijing to assess and possible evacuation of a patient. Responding to the call from the Eleventh District Coast Guard at Alameda, pararescuers, or PJs, two HH-60G Pave Hawk rescue helicopters and one MC-130P Combat Shadow aircraft departed Moffett Federal Airfield. The team provided medical assistance to a 54-year-old male who had suffered stroke-like symptoms on the cargo ship. Guardsmen medically evacuated the patient to the San Jose Regional Medical Center.
